Yesterday, Lenovo introduced a new folding laptop on the Accelerate event and today released additional information in an official press release.
Called the Lenovo Thinkpad X1, this laptop is designed for highly mobile professionals, technology experts who demand the best tools and that promise unprecedented portability will not interfere with productivity and reliability.
They noted that in the past, screens mounted on 13.3-inch laptops needed devices to maintain the same size, but the 2K OLED screen made working with LG Display could be duplicated and the width could be reduced by up to 50%.
They saw a series of scenarios for Intel devices compatible with Windows, including:
- Wake up, start working on the book and start the day by analyzing your social media information on the bed.
- Go to your kitchen, roll out and hold to see your main handsfree news site.
- Hit your trip by bus or train and turn it into a shell to catch up on your email.
- Enter the desktop, enter in the configuration of several monitors and start working.
- Attend meetings, take notes with a pen, and write on a tablet full screen.
- After lunch, attach the bracket and use a mechanical keyboard to catch several emails in the office.
- Go home at night, open and stream your favorite shows.
- Relax in bed, fold it in half and enjoy your last reading before going to bed.
They point out that the ThinkPad X1, a small footprint, combines the productivity of laptops with the portability of a smartphone to adapt to their unprecedented lifestyle.
