They gave Huawei a temporary license to take the steps needed to provide services and support, including software updates or patches, to existing Huawei phones that are publicly available before May 16 2019. "
The license will also allow Huawei to maintain existing network equipment and receive information about security vulnerabilities.
The license, however, ended on August 19, but may give time for another approach to delay the end.
Huawei said it was working on its own replacement for Android and Google Play services, but without the main EE application. Laws like YouTube, Facebook, and Snapchat, it seems that consumers don't compromise and won't consciously buy new generation devices from Huawei.
