Microsoft Photos for Windows 10 gets a new feature

Image search from Microsoft is very easy to do in the Edge web browser. On the old or new Edge, you have to right-click on the image to find similar images on the Web through Bing. But what happens when you are at the table and want to do a reverse image search? The Microsoft Photos application can help you do it.

Microsoft has introduced a search function for web images in the Photos application with the latest updates in Windows 10. In this update, the photo application has obtained Bing Search for similar image functions.

To use a similar search function, you must right-click on the photo that was opened and click "Find similar images on Bing". You may have to accept that Microsoft processes images online, so algorithms can search for similar results on the Web.

After you give permission, Microsoft's secure cloud technology sends images to Bing and pages with similar images will open in your default browser.

This feature can be useful in various scenarios. For example, if you have recorded a low-quality wallpaper, you can use this function to search for high-quality wallpapers or similar images. This can also help you find similar illustrations for your presentation.

This change launches all users, including internal users and the general public.
